Expressing Philippians 1

• Prayer is a very important and effective part in the Christian walk. Prayer is our way of talking and communicating with God. There are many ways we can communicate with God, but prayer is a big one. Communication is so important in a relationship. It is even more important in our relationship with God.
• Encouragement keeps us all going in life. If no one encouraged people, people would not have good self esteem. Paul constantly encourages the Philippians. We should encourage Christians in a spiritual way. Encouragement means a lot to people, but especially when you are a Christian. It keeps you wanting to walk with Christ and love God more.
• Paul rejoices in the hardest of times. I think that is a very important quality in a Christian to have. Sometimes it is very hard to be put in a hard situation and make the best out of it. However, I think that is what makes us strong.
• Paul says that some people preach just to scare people into being a Christian. I do not agree with that. It is a lot less effective if you are scared into Christianity.

Paul is always constant. He doesn't let people get by with much. He is constantly telling them the same stuff. As Christians I think we need that constancy. We will never ever be perfect. I think we néed to always remind our selves of what we are supposed to be doing.
